Case studies

living area

Wow factor installation

Our client wanted to have roller blinds installed in her living area that was going to give a wow factor. We think we achieved that, they look spectacular! After having some difficulty in finding a company that could fulfil her needs, she came to us. Once we confirmed the fabric could be bonded and made into a roller, we got the job underway. Needless to say, she is very happy!

Lounge Area

Open feel room with lots of natural light

For this job, we had a client that has a relatively narrow lounge room. They really wanted to have a light and open feel to the room, while at the same time, provide good insulation.

Eventually they chose white block-out roman blinds. As the blinds were face-fitted above the window, the headboard acts as a pelmet, giving additional insulation and ensuring the blinds stack up really well out of the way when open, giving more space. The flatness of the blind and the white colour also gives a feeling of space and lightness, even when the blinds are down.

Our customer is convinced their lounge room is 50% bigger and is extremely happy with the end result!

Sliding door

Large sliding door with small window

Here we had a situation where there is a large sliding door with a small window beside it. The pelmet and hand-drawn curtain was chosen for the slider, however, the client felt that a curtain did not suit the small window. There is a stair way above which prevented a pelmet being fitted at the same height as the other pelmet.

Given this, we suggested a roman blind made from the same fabric as the curtain (we call this a decorative roman).

This meant that although we had two different products, they were tied in together by using the same fabric and function in a way that the customer is very happy with.

Small Space

Minimalist look for small bedroom

Our customer her has quite a small bedroom and wanted to have a minimalist look to maintain as much space as possible in the room. When the blind is open, it sits mostly above the window, giving maximum space. When it is down, it sits relatively flat to the wall and doesn’t protrude into the room. We also fitted a screen roller behind the roman for daytime privacy as the bedroom is at the front of the home.

Kitchen Area

Simple looking and easy to care

Customer required a simple looking, easy to care for blind for their kitchen, above the sink. We recommend our easy care Focus range, which can be cleaned with warm soapy water. As the customer wanted a clean look at the top of the blind (they didn’t want to see brackets and roller), we also provided a valance, covered with their blind fabric to give a coordinated look.
